MySQL
MySQL
is a relational database management system (rdbms) that provides users
with a powerful multi-user, multi-threaded SQL (Structured Query
Language) database solution. It is fast, robust, and easy to use.
MySQL is provided free of charge on all our Virtual Servers
For additional information and
documentation see:
Ms SQL
Ms SQL is database engine supported under the Windows Servers and is
available via our W2K SQL Server
For additional information and
documentation see:
Ms Access
Ms Access database is only supported through our range of W2K
Servers.

mSQL
mSQL,
or Mini SQL, is a lightweight database engine created to allow fast
support and access of stored data without requiring large amounts of
memory. This database engine provides a powerful capability for
accessing databases within the Virtual Server environment.
The mSQL package includes the powerful
database engine, a terminal "monitor" program, a database
admin program, a schema viewer, and a C language API. The API and the
database engine have both been designed to work in a client/server
environment over a TCP/IP network. This makes mSQL an ideal database
for operating within your Virtual Server.
For more information see:
PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL is a
powerful relational database management system (rdbms) that is similar
to Ingres. PostgreSQL is an enhancement of the original POSTGRES
database management system, a next-generation DBMS research prototype.
While PostgreSQL retains the powerful data model and rich data types
of POSTGRES, it replaces the PostQuel query language with an extended
subset of SQL.
